Serakai Brand Identity
Early in 2023, a capital and real estate company — then known as Seradac — tasked us with coming up with developing their visual identity as well as a new name. What was exciting about Serakai was the vision of its founder, Ben Cha, who aimed to combine his love of the arts with placemaking.
Placemaking is a school of thought around urban planning that aims to invigorate culture and provide positive interactions with the space. It was no easy feat to create a visual identity that could support these lofty ambitions and Serakai’s optimism about the future.
We developed a visual identity as well as a series of icons inspired by the brand’s 10-sided logo, known as the Dyne. This visual identity would lay the foundation for the website design that we later worked with Taipei-based Hyphen Works to execute.
Serakai (“the worlds to be”) presented us with a chance to create something that’s rooted in the ideals of our present-day world but that also boldly looks upward and forward.
